One Dead, Three Injured in Kupwara Road Mishap

Srinagar, Sept 4: A tragic road accident on the Lolab bypass road in Kupwara on Thursday claimed one life and left three others injured, officials said.

The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of Sheri and a Special Police Officer (SPO) posted at Sheeri. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

The three injured persons were shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation.
